Sheri
Sheri joined Stonelake in 2022. She has been a veterinary technician since 2016, including four years working as a dental and surgical technician. Sheri lives in Sacramento with her husband Philip and their two kids. She also has several cats and dogs at home, all of them rescues or bottle babies. She enjoys traveling and camping with friends and family on her days off.
Teryn Smothers
I have dedicated myself to saving animals of all species for close to two decades. Professionally, I have worked as a trainer, a hospital administrator and a veterinary technician. My love of animals has taken me to the Middle East many times to provide veterinary care for the strays of Turkey. I have served on the board for Friends of Elk Grove Animal Shelter for the past four years and enjoy volunteering in my spare time. My personal pets include my beloved rescues: Bruce, Chai, and Bobbi.
Valerie Cook
Hi, I am Valerie and I have been a part of the Stonelake Animal Hospital team since June 2021. I studied Animal Science and Spanish at UC Davis, and I hope to go on to vet school. I have always had a passion for animals. All through high school I volunteered in 4-H and worked at the Sacramento Zoo. In my free time, I enjoy ice skating, spending time outdoors, going shopping, and listening to Spanish music. I have had many different pets in the past, and I currently have a cat named Sonic and two crested geckos. I am originally from Stonelake, so it is very special to me that I get the opportunity to work with the Elk Grove community. I love meeting all of our wonderful clients and helping their adorable pets.
Ariel
Hello, my name is Ariel. I am a veterinary assistant here at Stonelake Animal Hospital, and I have a degree in paralegal studies. I have three horses, two cats, a dog, and a chinchilla. I spend my free time with my animals, riding horses, and ice skating.
Deep
I am Gagandeep Singh (Deep), a seasoned software developer with a strong foundation in computer science and a flair for crafting innovative solutions, with proficiency in full-stack development and database management. Beyond the coding realm, I have embraced my passion for animal care as a veterinary technician, where I have lent my technical skills to surgical assistance, radiology, and laboratory work. This unique blend of skills reflects my commitment to excellence in both the digital and veterinary domains, where precision meets compassion. Outside of work, you will find me immersed in coding projects, volunteering at animal shelters, and exploring the synergy between technology and animal welfare. I am excited about the continual growth and the positive impact I can make in these dynamic fields.
Maranda
Maranda here. I am a veterinary assistant. My passion to help animals has kept me in this field since I earned my AA in animal science in 2010. I am one of the biggest animal lovers you will ever meet. I am passionate, energetic, goofy, and I just want to make your pet feel better, as well as provide proper client education to help you understand the importance of any services we are completing for your pet.
